Welcome at Finca Vrij Retreat center and apartments

Dream come true

In 2018 we have been working on realising our dream, which is: creating a small retreat centre. A place where you can come and guide your workshop or retreat and where you can stay in one of the apartments and participate in the activities held in the workshop space.

Finca Vrij is situated in the small hamlet of Looperskapelle, near Scharendijke on Schouwen Duiveland, the most northern island of Zeeland. It’s a beautiful place, in the middle of nature, just a couple of minutes away from the beach.

Veneu / Retreatcentre

The retreatcenter consists of a beautiful 70 square meters courseroom with an orangery attached, where you can relax and eat during the breaks.

Apartements

There are 6 appartements for two people. If you chose to spend your holiday on Finca Vrij there are daily meditations and yoga classes. Next to your own little garden, you share an enormous garden (5500m2) with the rest of the guests.

We are Erik and Estrella de Vrijer, two fifty something people that decided to change gear after their last child left home. In December 2014 we bought two hectares of land, just outside of Looperskapelle,
