Unique course centre in Zeeland
At Finca Vrij you can rent a small-scale course centre.
A contemporary, sexy centre with its feet firmly in the farmer’s clay.
It is located on Schouwen Duiveland, the northernmost island of Zeeland.
It is beautifully situated, just a few minutes’ drive from the vast beach and within walking distance of the Grevelingen.
We offer you and your students all the space, peace, a beautiful private garden of over 5500 square metres and lots of fresh air. If you rent the centre, you will be the only group staying at the Finca.
The centre is suitable for smaller groups of at least 12 to a maximum
of 24 people. The beautiful course room of over 70 square metres is light and spacious and has a good quality sound system. Everything has been thought of: there are meditation cushions, yoga mats, mattresses, blankets and 2 massage tables, toilet paper
The large, adjacent orangery (called ‘the Greenhouse’) serves as a living space, where you can relax in the greenery and enjoy your meals during breaks.
You can prepare these meals yourself in the small but compact and well-functioning, light kitchen, which has a large refrigerator (350 l), a professional 3-minute dishwasher, a gas oven, sink unit and a large kettle and coffee maker.
If you don’t want to cook yourself, there is the possibility to hire a chef or caterer.
The six apartments are located in another building. They are 2 to 4 person bedrooms, each with its own toilet and shower. (With 12 people you have 6 double rooms, if more people join, then 3 or 4 people sleep per apartment, with 2 people sleeping upstairs and 2 people downstairs. See the map.)
Outside in the large accompanying garden there are several garden rooms where it is wonderful to stay for yoga, meditation or just to chill out. If you don’t feel like sitting inside in the evening, you can make a fire at the private fire pit. The retreat center is available for rent for anyone who is giving a workshop, retreat or course in the field of awareness, yoga, meditation, dance, shamanism and the like and is for people aged 21 and over.

If the weather permits, you can of course eat outside with a group!
The 5500m2 garden offers, in addition to relaxation, the opportunity to “get to work” outside with groups.
The course room is light and spacious.
There is more than enough space
for 24 people.
The room is equipped with a top sound system, meditation cushions, yoga mats and mattresses.
The lighting is dimmable.
